    what good is a hosting company if they cant keep your websites safe? Customer service is friendly,but of no consequence. Features are abundant,but with additional costs.Constant spam mail with additional offers are annoying,but when apparent malware is found and not removed automatically and instead the websites and emails suspended and blocked at the 1 of a month and a request added of paying to fix the issue,one realizes something is very wrong, than the blame for the breach is moved to the customer, its close to fraud. Legal action are pending...

    Took 4 months for them to develop my website and once on the internet, it didn't work properly. The software they use (osCommerce) for you to make modifications is extremely inflexible; some things you must tell them to make changes for you at $150/Hr. Any changes you CAN make will take you not hours, but DAYS to complete. After it was launched, it has been 2 months to get things fixed and as I type this, it is still NOT fixed. I signed up with this company because they were Windows based where I was told that I could use my MS Access database.....NOT! The problems arising right now are finger-pointing between the developer and the server; it has been back and forth the last 2 months. After talking with both sides a hundred times, I firmly believe that they have no idea what they are doing. Server is extremely slow as well as it takes a good 10 seconds to load the website up on the screen. I signed up with this company for 1 year, it has been 6 months so far with no working website, yet. After my contract runs out 6 months from now, I'm outta here!

    Nothing but problems since Dec. They lie, take days to fix problems,and no one seems to care. I've lost 3 customers so far. Half the time my sites are not working. I have to check every day to see that all of settings are still correct. They change for no apparent reason. It's the most unstable server I've ever used. One day all of my DNS records were messed up. All 30 websites were down with no email service. It took 5 days for them to fix it. My customers and I lost a lot of revenue. I've counted 37 support tickets on my account since Dec. and most of my problems aren't even documented with a support ticket. The control panel wouldn't let me renew domains so I called and they promised to do it manually for me. It took 4 phone calls and they still let them expire. Then when they did get them renewed they added privacy and charged me for it! I moved 1 domain to MyHosting.com last month and it's been perfect. Next week I'm moving the other 29 domains if they allow me to. Most of the time I don't have any control over my domains.

    At the time of writing this review, our website has been down for 4 of the last 12 days. Trying to get support out of EasyCGI is like trying to get toothpaste back in the tube. I have to say the features offered by EasyCGI are excellent. The pricing is also excellent. But boy, oh boy. When things go wrong - and they go wrong frequently - you will be tearing your hair out waiting for EasyCGI to fix it.

    Very deceptive offer listed on their site. They show Free site set up - but then charge $25.00 per DLL to register. I consider registering DLLs for an ASP site as part of the set up. There certainly should not be a charge or it should be clearly stated that you will have to pay...PRIOR to the sign up! They also list the web space as 6 gB.... but only allow 50 mb for the database... of course you are welcome to add more space for more money. This is another area that should be clearly explained prior to sign up. Their original charge of $26.95 for the Advanced plan ended up at $56.95 per month with only 2.5 gB of space used. They have no system to increase your monthly transfer limit if you go over... just won't allow your visitors to access your site. In today's world, this is totally un-acceptable. Any host worth using should automatically increase your bandwidth to whatever is needed and charge for the extra usage at the end of the month. I have recently switched to another Hosting company that did indeed set up my site for FREE and the monthly price is 1/2 of what EasyCGI was charging. I would certainly not recommend this Host... way too many extra fees and hidden limits.

    EasyCGI has excellent customer service. Even on the weekend, I was able to get replies to my questions. They also have a toll free number 7 days a week but only from 9 till 5. The help files on their web site are useless but if you know what you are doing this should not be a problem. As I wrote, their customer service is the best - once I had a problem with MS SQL Server database. But they worked it out very quickly. The only downside to EasyCGI is their lack of unique features (e-commerce, promotional, etc.)
