    Do not under any circumstance you go daddy to host your website or email. They fail in every aspect of business from the top to the bottom.

    Their email forwarding and CC'ing function completely sucks. It takes anywhere from 1 up to 7 days to pass mail along. Some mail has not been delivered at all, and was apparently thrown away, per customer service or was still in the Queu. I talked to CS two time and both times they said it was temporary clitch. This is not true. I 've tested the system over a 8 days period and got the same (bad) results every time. It is unconscienable that they offer you this service but fail to tell you that it does not work or works very, very slowly. The Post Office is faster at forwarding mail than GoDaddy and they don't care, nor have any plans to fix it. If you use GoDaddy I advise you not use the mail forwarding or CC'ing function if you ever want to hear from a customer in a timely manner or at all.

    Am a consultant dealing with small business clients and have had to deal with dozens of hosting providers since we started. The ONLY one who has provided what we consider to be above average customer service is GoDaddy. Have experienced one or two support persons who were not up to par, but when told that i wanted the issue pushed higher, their advanced support staff ALWAYS comes through. For New Customers: their website is cluttered (Parsons evidently likes the "NASCAR Stickers" look)and until you've been there a few dozen times (not an exaggertion) it is very difficult to find your way around. But when frustrated with figuring out how to do something, pick up the phone and call them.

    NO!Godaddy is the worse website hosting and their customer support are not friendly at all,I'd never get my answer from them!I didn't even get all my money back,i felt like i was ripped off by them.I was told to get all my money refund in 14 days.But they told me the different things when i called the billing department again in the same day.I have a clear mind and good memory,but i was trying to ask them the same question "can i get all my money back for all the product i bought,and the guy from the billing department said that "Yes,you can absolutely get all your money back for all the product you bought in 14 days."Then i found out that their customer service were so not caring and friendly at all and i never get my answer,so i called them back for the refund on the 6 days from the purchased day,but i was told that"you can't get all your money back ,the 2 of the 4 product are not give you get the refund in 14 days,you only can get the refund for these 2 product within 5 days".I was absolutely asking them if i could get my money back for these two product and he said absolutely YES.I am still so angry about that as i was totally get ripped off.I am a quiet and caring person,but this time i can't be quiet anymore.I was still so angry not only got ripped off ,but because they are so unfriendly and not caring customer service!They were just too proud of themself.I had never had a bad experience like that before and i think would never forget it in my life.I think it you found some good remark on godaddy from those certain review.com proberly are fate,they might be working for godaddy.

    Godaddy is terrible. Not only do they provide customers with wrong information, they are lying to people with regards to their account info, which is public information via Whois. (I.E. telling people who are clearly hosted with other companies, that they are not hosted, then trying to steal their business.) Not good business practice, not good hosting for those who need unrestrictive hosting.

    When we asked for our refund after experiencing 100% downtime on our website, they credited it to an old credit card that was closed. Not only did they not look at our current information, address and email, but their billing system is wrong, unfavorable and a disaster. Watch out as I would put in a single penny on this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY. They are twisted.

    No way. I have used several hosting companies and by comparison, Godaddy is the worst. Godaddy has an awful interface. Support representative didn't know what he was talking about and was obviously frustrated with himself. Finally, some features are unnecessarily restrictive. I'd rather pay more for a genuine 5 star hosting company.

    I did some research before deciding to go with my Godaddy for my hosting service, and other web-related products. I remember being unsure because of some bad reviews that I had read, but there were also some good reviews that said there customer service was great, etc. etc.

    I wish I had gone somewhere else though, after being a customer for over a year I have had more problems with Godaddy's products and customer service than I can shake a stick at.

    I suggest that you fully explore other options before deciding to invest any time, energy or capital in Godaddy products.

    They seam cheap, but you will be surprised by how much they will cost you in the end.

    As my first host, godaddy has pleasantly surprised me. 100% uptime, customer service which was quite quick to respond with personal support to my problems. Well thought out control panel for my account and the billing was done quite well. My email has been kept clean from any offers for more advanced hosting programs.

    Two things I didn't quite like though. First was that you can not parse php on html pages. Second was that when your buying services from godaddy, make sure you are looking to see which check boxes are chosen. Almost everyone is checked when going through the buy section so when you look at your confirmation before you buy something, you may have a lot of extra features you never wanted before.

    All in all, a great and reliable host for a first time webmaster.

    I switched between hosting providers for years (GoDaddy, Yahoo, hostway, lunarpages, and a few others), but I always found myself coming back to GoDaddy. Eventually I decided to just stick with them, and while I'm not always happy, I can't say I'm unhappy either.

    My site gets ~40,000 visits a month and 600,000+ page views, so I need it running on a dedicated server. I've been doing this for a little over a year now, and have never had a complaint.

    The one thing that does bug me is how their site bombards you with "Buy This!" but ignoring it is easy.
